About Our Association

Established in 1967, the New Brunswick Health Information Management Association (NBHIMA) is a professional organization comprised of Health Information Management professionals in the Province of New Brunswick.

Health Information Management professionals provide leadership and expertise regarding health record/information systems and management, patient access to health information, confidentiality, record security, record retention, data quality, analysis and utilization.
